The Division of Educational Outreach oversees a variety of programs throughout Southeastern Michigan, including off-campus credit courses and degree programs, online programs, executive, professional and continuing education, and the spring/summer sessions on all campuses.
Courses and degree programs offered at the six extension centers throughout metropolitan Detroit are taught by faculty members of the Wayne State Schools and Colleges, providing off-campus students the same academic experience as those on the main campus.
Online classes are a convenient alternative to the traditional classroom and there are currently more than 100 courses offered in a wide range of subjects.
Executive and Professional Development has delivered customized business training, executive education and consulting services to more than 300 corporate clients in Michigan.
Additionally, the Visitor Program allows non-students to experience a Wayne State course without earning college credit.
